Rethink...

OUR WATER SOURCE

With current usage rates, the City of Joliet’s existing water source will no longer be sustainable by 2030.

YOUR WATER USE

An average family of four uses 881 gallons of water per week just by flushing the toilet.  Replacing 3.5 gallon toilets with low flow toilets can save a household 12,000 gallons of water each year.

HOW WE CAN CONSERVE

When you conserve water you also save money. Turn off the tap while you brush your teeth. Reduce your showering time to 5 minutes.

THE VALUE OF WATER

The average household pays five times as much money for cell phones than they do for water.
